Thanks Eric.

And so 2011 starts with a bang!

I'm still in America ... beginning to gain control of my work and finances ... and Google has a new CEO.

{In another post, I'd like to analyze 2010 and the impact it's had on me. I'd ended 2009 quite disappointed, and being away from family and friends, a little lonely too. This time around, a well executed holiday in San Diego (California) at the turn of the year on the back of general satisfaction did me good!}

Surprisingly, Google's still at the center of much of my thoughts. Haah! 4.5 years clocked.

It's funny how the media is speculating on Eric's departure as something Larry & Sergey have been needing for a while, to come out of his supervision. I can't comment on that aspect, but L & S rarely represented the company in the media. Those who've heard Eric Schmidt at his best will agree - he's razor sharp and witty, and very inspiring at most times.

Change doesn't always have to be punitive. On most days in Google, when smart people use their brain - it's often progressive.

In other news -

The 5 words most commonly used by extroverted bloggers are "bar," "other," "drinks," "restaurant," and "dancing," according to a study of the personalities and writings of 700 bloggers by Tal Yarkoni, a psychology and neuroscience postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado. By examining language use and personality types, Yarkoni also found that the top five words used by conscientious people are "completed," "adventure," "stupid," "boring," and "adventures."

Well, at least I've spared myself that routine in the above post. As I stand on the cusp of a huge dream and desire, I wanted to have a quick chat with my online pal here - my blog :-)
