It's just me celebrating an early rise. I keep getting poked about my slow starts to the day. Sometimes, it gets translated to 'being late to work'.
For starters, I don't consider hitting your desk at 8 am as being at work. In fact, I'd beat most of those too, because I'm normally up before 8 am, and my mind is at work before I leave my bed. If my work's worth it, then I'm thinking about it at this point. Which means I'm already at work before I get to my workplace, right? :)
It's a matter of perception, as the corporate world disappointingly comments.
Anyway, most of my thoughts and opinions are formed during those minutes on the tea, or the WC (if you may allow me to divulge). Archimedes isn't the only one then!
I've been thinking much this morning as usual. Indian fiction, my favorite newspapers (their logo fonts!), what might be the most livable metro in India, and what is it that I've achieved in life until now.
As my facebook status reads,
"Rahul Batra is amazed by the number of links worth reading that he comes across, leading to 'The New York Times'. The Telegraph (UK), The Hindu (India), Sydney Morning Herald probably come next.
On the foreign ones, very interesting (and late) realization ... I might be falling for the bloody font!
:P"
Most livable metro - certainly not Hyderabad or Chennai. It's tough to argue your case with a Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai or Kolkata fan though. That said, you will rarely see a Bangalorean give up on Bangalore, or move on. Despite it's traffic woes and kinder garden friendly club rules, it's a city that stays in tune with the times. It remains educated, cultural, progressive and passionate about it's best. I'll go with Delhi next, and leave Kolkata and Mumbai as good vacation options.
On the final thought, I am happy that I shall hit my 27 year with confidence and clarity on my likes and dislikes. I can manage a conversation and I'm willing to learn. I'm fairly good with choices; just that I end up getting stuck on the final 2 in most cases.
